The Rem 700 Special, single stage, is a premium upgrade to the Primary model, designed to deliver even greater accuracy and precision on any Remington 700 rifle. Equipped with CLKR Technology and hand refinements, the trigger pull weight can be easily and accurately adjusted from 1.0 to 3.5 lbs in 1 oz increments via an externally accessible set screw. This results in a crisp trigger break that many shooters report feels lighter than a friction-based trigger of the same weight.
Just like the Primary model, the Rem 700 Special offers a true zero-creep break, minimal overtravel, and exceptional reliability, even in harsh conditions. Its Frictionless Release Technology and hardened 440C stainless steel internal components ensure corrosion resistance and a long service life. Unlike traditional triggers, Frictionless Release Technology does not require coating, polishing, or lubrication, resulting in consistent trigger pulls shot after shot, even after thousands of rounds.
